Children's PastorPosted by: Derek Elkins

Casper Nazarene is seeking to expand its ministry team with a children’s pastor.
A little about us:
We are a little church with a great mission. Over the last three years we have experienced growth and have an average Sunday attendance of around 130. On some Sundays we have over 30 kids and need someone with a heart for Christ, Children and their families.
Casper Naz was officially organized in 1921 and has continued to be a group of faithful believers throughout the years through many economic hardships.
And here we are today, doing our best to fulfill the Great Commission. And we do this locally where our vision is to R.E.A.C.H. Casper for Christ. REACH stands for: Revive, Equip, Advance, Connect, & Harvest.
Our Children’s ministry exists to make this happen. We want to REACH Children and their families.
We want to see Children come to believe in Jesus, become disciples, and live out the mission.
We are a traditional-missional church that has a high value of Christ, the scriptures, church, the mission, and biblical holiness.
Serving in this department comes with a high expectation. We believe that every child, being made in the image of God, matters to God and should be treated with love and respect.
We believe in showing up early and being prepared, to be praying for every child, to be welcoming, to serve with a good attitude, to participate in every meeting, to be a team player, to take our mission seriously, and to live with a Christ-like lifestyle.
As a part-time (or Bi-Vo) Pastor you are encouraged to be fully engaged in the life of the church.
What’s required of you? (Please see also the job description)
As a Children's Pastor you will also need to agree with our Statement of Faith and Code of Christian conduct, etc. found in the Naz Manual. You will also need to pass a background check and complete ministry safe training before hiring.
We encourage all staff pastors to pursue the course of ministry through our denomination.
Please know that what makes the church special are the things we believe about God and the scriptures.
We look forward to having the qualified and called person serve with us.
