Location: Cactus TX

SUMMARY: This position will provide nursing and administrative duties in a primary care setting with specific focus on helping to implement grant projects to provide prenatal care and Vaccines for Children.

 Maintain current license in State of Texas
 Communicate effectively and accurately with patients, staff, and general public
 Ensure all actions, personal conduct, and communications represent the organization in a highly professional manner at all times
 Work with medical director to implement prenatal care and Vaccines for Children grant projects
 Keep accurate records for grant projects, write and submit reports per grant and program requirements
 Assist with overall administration of office one day per week
 Help with daily flow of seeing patients in the office including rooming patients, collecting samples (such as blood or urine) from patients, performing routine lab tests, setting up and assisting with procedures, administering vaccines or medications, providing patient education, etc.
 Demonstrate knowledge of current standards of practice and performs current nursing practice expectations within established guidelines
 Ensure all clinical care is delivered in a manner that meets or exceeds goals and expectations for patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, quality assurance standards, and state/local regulations
 Keep clinical area clean, organized, and safe for patients and staff
 Complete all patient charting and ensure medical records are current/complete with strong attention to detail and accuracy
 Uphold and ensure compliance to all policies and procedures, mission, and organizational values in a
highly professional manner at all times
 Other duties as assigned by medical director

 Completion of RN or LVN program (LVN with relevant experience)
 Current license in State of Texas
 Current CPR certification
 One or more years experience in medical office setting, experience in prenatal care or with Vaccines for Children preferred
 Ability to take initiative and work independently to implement grant projects
 Ability to develop collaborative working relationships, particularly with organizations that are relevant to projects
 Professional and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
 Success in providing clinical care and nursing support with a knowledge of medical practices and procedures in primary care setting
 Knowledge and experience in the use of tools and technology found within healthcare environments such as computers, electronic medical records, medical devices, and equipment
 Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage time effectively in fast-paced environment
 Ability to discern when to seek direction or help when needed
 Bilingual is a plus
