In a sentence, the Kid's Ministry Pastor equips families to make disciples of their kids.
Here’s what we consider success for the Pastor of Kid's Ministry and how we’d equip, empower, cheerlead and release you to lead. If it generates excitment in you, we'd love to talk.
#1 You invest in current parents so their kids can become great parents who know how to disciple their children. You think beyond the kid in front of you to the adult they’ll become and the kids they’ll raise.
#2 You grow and lead a team of passionate kid-focused people who love creating great environments and experiences for kids to learn and take next steps toward knowing the love of God, experiencing the love of God, and teaching a generation of kids to follow Jesus. You love to equip people to use their gifts and give ministry away.
#3 You care about our context/city and what's happening to the kids and families in it. Most of the time as Church leaders, we’re guilty of stopping with the evaluative question: “How’s our Church?” That’s important, but not final. We want to go on and ask a Kingdom question: “How is our city?” We take serving our city seriously, so we seek the peace and prosperity of it intentionally.
A bit about us.
Our name holds true to who we are. We work hard to be real (I know, that sounds like marketing, but ask anyone and that’s what they’ll tell you), normal and accessible. We want real people to follow the real Jesus.
