At McCrory Nazarene, we have a great desire to love children and teens in our small town. We believe that God loves each one of them and their families. We have established ministries in these areas and are praying for an Associate Pastor to join the journey with us.
We are praying for God to send a staff member who will be willing to to live out his love in missional and creative ways.
Our hope is to develop a partnership where the love and joy of our relationship with God and each other will make a difference - in this community for the Kingdom.
Our promise is to love and do our very best to take care of staff partners. We believe that god has great days ahead as we follow Jesus together.

At McCrory Nazarene, we believe in and long to minister to the children, teens, and families in our Community. We also believe that the needs are much greater than can be addressed within the four walls of the church building. Therefore, our vision is for an Associate Pastor who is willing to support good ministries within the church, and spend a significant portion of time in the community in ways that will be a blessing – in Jesus Name – to our city.
Associate Pastor Roles
A Pastor who works in partnership with the Lead Pastor to minister to children, teens, and families in the church and community.
A model as a Christian, a servant, and a member of a team that seeks to bring lost people to Jesus.
An example of the lifestyle of Missional living that will be an inspiration to the members and friends of McCrory Nazarene and community.
A competent and trustworthy counselor for those within your ministry influence.
An educator, equipper, trainer who provides a variety of learning experiences for people inside and outside the local church. The Associate Pastor should see himself/herself as a resource to the community.
An administrator who can analyze the needs of the children & teen departments and help organize the programs that are a part of this ministry. This will include our Wednesday evening meals and ministries.
The Associate Pastor will work directly with and report to the Lead Pastor. This is per Manual guidelines. In a better sense, the Associate will walk along side, not in front of or behind the Lead Pastor in serving the church and community.
There will be opportunities for the Associate Pastor to preach and teach, as well as use hers/his ministry gifting in building up the local church.
