Painesville Christian Academy (PCA) is a ministry of the Painesville Church of the Nazarene. We offer a faith based program, focued on developing the whole child. We exist to help the young of our community grow physically, mentally, socilly and spiritually. PCA is looking for a director who is flexible, self-motivated, organized and detail oriented that will committed long term to the ministry of our school. Director must be a member and involved in a local church.
Qualifications for this position include:
Associate, bachelor, master or doctoral or other post graduate degree in child development, early childhood education or related field approved by the Ohio Departmnt of Job and Family Services.
Preferred 2 years experience working as a child care staff member in a licensed care program.
Working knowledge od state licensing
Managerial and interpersonal experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
FBI and BCI background check
Director will be responsible for:
Various office and administrative tasks
Advertising and promoting the positive image of our school in the community
Managing Quickbooks, billing and finances
Ensuring that PCA remains in compliance with state licensing laws
Interviewing, hiring and retainging staff and teachers
Managing staff files and ensuring all necessary training is curent with state requirements
Handling delinquent tution payment and discipline issues with PCA families
