The Children's Pastor at Conway First Church of the Nazarene will guide children to put their trust in Jesus, and partner with their parents to help the family grow in Christ together.
Love children and feel called by God to minister to them with passion and excellence.
Lead children and their families to grow in Christ together.
Discover, equip, and empower passionate volunteers to provide leadership within CN Kids.
Maintain a monthly schedule of volunteers in every area of CN Kids.
Communicate and meet with CN Kids leaders in order to build ownership and equip them to ‚®lead others
Lead creative team meetings in order to implement the curriculum on Sundays and ‚®Wednesdays in elementary, pre school, toddler and nursery ministry areas.
Create systems and events to thank and appreciate CN Kids volunteers.
Communicate with first-time guests and help them connect at Conway Nazarene.
Oversee communication with the lead pastor, staff, church, children and their families
Provide resources for parents and families and help parents lead the discipleship process with ‚®their children at home.
Find, create, or adapt and prepare curriculum for children from birth through 4th grade. (Currently Using “Orange” in most of our environments)
Oversee the setup and operation of all related children’s ministry environments on Sunday ‚®morning, including check-in, individual children’s environments, security, check out, setup and tear down.
Assure that safety is always a priority our children in their ministry environments and with their ‚®leaders.
Develop and oversee the CN Kids budget and be accountable to the lead pastor and finance ‚®committee.
Participate in staff meetings and other meetings as scheduled.
Work alongside the pastor and the building committee on the construction of a new 9,000 SF children’s ministry facility.
Maintain and develop the CN Kids “brand” within Conway Nazarene, including themes, ‚®environments, décor, graphics, website, etc.
Maintain God ordained priorities in your life by putting Jesus Christ first, your spouse second, your children third and the ministry fourth.
Give faithfully to the ministry and vision of Conway Nazarene.
Be loyal to the vision and staff of Conway Nazarene and always protect the unity of the church.
Invest and invite the lost to know Jesus and grow in Him at Conway Nazarene.
